We offer lessons on our horses, your horses and trail riding.

1. RIDING LESSONS ON OUR HORSES

We provide tuition on our well schooled horses and ponies.

Lessons are available for all ages, from children to adults and we have a range of horses suitable for the different skill levels.

What we Provide:-

We provide the horses and ponies with all their own tack.

We also have available horse riding safety helmets.

What you Need:-

You need smooth soled leather shoes and appropriate pants.

2. RIDING LESSONS ON YOUR HORSE

We are a very experienced competition facility and can help you with your horse.

We provide tuition to riders of all abilities utilising their own horses and equipment.

The aim is to ensure that you are getting the most from your horse and at the same time that the two of you are enjoying the experience.

Prices

– $45.00 for 30 minutes
– $60.00 for 45 minutes
– $70.00 for 1 hour

3. TRAIL RIDING

Experience a real Australian horse riding adventure at Oakford Property just 30 minutes south of the Perth CBD.

You will ride on horseback through the tranquil pasture and bush land of Oakford. The trail ride is suitable for people of any riding ability.

We have helmets and boots available if you require.

The rides generally last about an hour and are a fun way to enjoy a horse ride or to improve your horsemanship

The rides are designed suit the experience of participants -and first time riders of all ages and even the nervous rider enjoy the experience. Experienced riders are welcome to go at their own pace.

Cost is $100 for the hour

4. COMPETITION TEAMS

The Oakford Equestrian Centre has available horses and ponies for riders to compete in open competition at local clubs and events. Our horses are well trained and the riders always have a successful and enjoyable day at competitions.

We believe it is important to offer the ability to compete, to all our riders.

From time to time we hold small competitions for our riders at the Equestrian Centre.

5. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE

All riders need to sign a standard disclaimer of liability.
